Routes being adjusted include 505 Züm Bovaird, 501 Züm Queen, 511/511C Züm Steeles, 4/4C Chinguacousy, 11/11A Steeles, 30 Airport Road, 60 Mississauga Road and others. Route 18 Dixie will be suspended during the summer and will resume on September 8.

26–2027 school years, and federal funding for related provincial and territorial agreements has increased to $140 million per year. The government said school food programs are now being offered in more than 10,000 provincially and territorially operated schools across Canada, representing about 80 per cent of those schools. The program is expected to provide additional meal support to up to 400,000 children each year.
TORONTO, June 16, 2026 – The City of Mississauga has recently launched a free sports equipment borrowing pilot program in partnership with Equip Sport, placing equipment lockers in 30 parks across the city. Residents can borrow basketballs, soccer balls and other sports items for free at participating parks and return them after use. The city said the pilot aims to lower barriers to outdoor recreation, especially ahead of the summer, by giving families and youth more nearby activity options.
