As the largest national pavilion, this year’s expo featured more than 120 Chinese exhibitors from over 10 provinces and cities, including Jiangsu, Zhejiang, Shandong, Fujian, Shanghai, Hubei, Hunan, Jiangxi, and Liaoning. The product categories on display included apparel, home textiles, accessories, bags, and footwear. According to official statistics from the expo, the first day saw approximately 800 visitors, with the total number of visitors expected to exceed 2,000 over the three days of the expo. This event received strong support from the Chinese Ministry of Commerce, which once again established a China Brand Promotion Project at the expo. The project carefully selected eight domestic textile and apparel brand representatives, including PEAK, APARSO, MIZUDA, CHALLENGE WOLVES, SIRIS, ESIR, SUNSHINETEX, and GTGH, to showcase high-quality Chinese textile and apparel brands and products, thereby enhancing the international influence of Chinese brands.

As a distinctive feature of the expo, over 20 forums and seminars will be held during the event, with industry experts from Europe and North America providing in-depth analysis and discussions on global sourcing trends in the textile and apparel industry, supply chain security, green sustainable development, cross-border e-commerce trade, digital marketing, and other hot topics, offering ideas and inspiration for the industry’s development.

To ensure the successful preparation of the expo, Vice President Zhang Xinmin and his team visited Luo Weidong, Consul General of the Chinese Consulate General in Toronto, before the event to report on the expo’s organization and the current state of bilateral trade between China and Canada.

The Canadian Apparel Textile Sourcing Expo is the most professional and influential international textile and apparel sourcing expo in Canada.
