MARKHAM, Ont. — Hong Kong entertainer Louis Yuen will bring his Laugh & Love Across Canada 2026 charity comedy concert tour to Markham on Nov. 6 and 7, with organizer Dream Entertainment Group planning a $7,000 donation to the Yee Hong Community Wellness Foundation.

Both performances begin at 7 p.m. at Auric King Fine Chinese Restaurant, 5000 Highway 7, Unit 2006L. The Toronto stop will combine music, stand-up comedy and audience participation.
According to the organizer, the donation cheque will be presented during the Nov. 6 dinner, with foundation president Stephen Siu and associate director of development Cathy Zhou scheduled to accept it. The contribution will support Yee Hong’s work serving seniors in the Greater Toronto Area.
Yuen is known to Cantonese-speaking audiences for his television, variety and stage performances, including appearances on TVB’s long-running Super Trio series. The Canadian tour aims to bring audiences together through entertainment while supporting local charities.
The two evenings will feature different programs. The Nov. 6 dinner includes a 1970s and ’80s best-dressed contest, with guests invited to wear outfits inspired by those decades. The Nov. 7 show, titled Super Trio: Louis Yuen Meets Toronto, will feature interactive games inspired by the television series. Both evenings will include songs and comedy.
Dream Entertainment Group says several elected officials and community representatives are expected to attend the Nov. 6 dinner. Markham Mayor Frank Scarpitti is also scheduled to join Yuen on stage for a performance of “The Bund,” the theme song from the television drama of the same name.
The organizer says the event is supported by sponsors, community organizations and donors, with the goal of connecting Chinese performing arts with local charitable causes.
