TORONTO, April 23, 2026 – Kunming, April 23 (China News Service, Lu Xicheng) — The “Colorful Yunnan, Recommended by Overseas Media” China tour for the Global Alliance of Chinese-Language Media officially launched in Kunming on the evening of April 23. Nearly 50 representatives from Chinese-language media outlets in 23 countries across five continents will visit Kunming, Yuxi, Xishuangbanna, and other parts of Yunnan from now until May 2.

During the event, representatives of Chinese-language media will conduct on-site visits focusing on Yunnan’s history and culture, ecological civilization, and economic and social development, and through symposiums, exchanges and visits, they will tell overseas audiences about beautiful Yunnan, open Yunnan and vibrant Yunnan.
