TORONTO, May 25, 2026 – A media reception for “Really Love You: Singing Across North America — Greater Bay Area Purple Classic Golden Hits Night” was held on May 25 at Casa Deluz Banquet Hall in Scarborough. Organizers announced at the event that the charity concert will take place on June 6 from 6 p.m. to 11 p.m. at the same venue, with part of the proceeds to be donated to Cherished Integrated Services to support services for people with intellectual disabilities and their families. Before purchasing tickets or making donations, residents should confirm ticket prices, purchase channels, donation percentage and how the funds will be used.

Organizers, sponsors, community guests and representatives from Cherished Integrated Services attended the reception and introduced the event arrangements. The poster displayed at the event showed that the concert venue is Casa Deluz Banquet Hall, located at 1571 Sandhurst Circle, Unit 107, Scarborough. Ticket prices are $138 per VIP ticket, or $1,380 for a table of 10; regular tickets are $118 per person, or $1,180 for a table of 10. Tickets can be purchased at Casa Deluz Banquet Hall, with reservation hotlines at 647-839-8831 or 647-739-1881.

A $3,000 cheque made out to Cherished Integrated Services was also displayed at the event. Organizers said the concert aims to attract community participation through classic Cantonese songs while directing part of the event proceeds toward charitable support. The poster listed performers including Tam Chiu Yu, Chan Dan Hung, Resonance Music Group, David and Victoria, Jeffrey Au, Celia T, Anson Liu, Leung Kin Shun and Yuet Yu.

Cherished Integrated Services has long provided support for people with intellectual disabilities, helping them integrate into the community, improve quality of life and receive ongoing family support. For many caregiving families, related services may involve day programs, life-skills training, social participation, family respite, employment preparation and long-term companionship.
In the Chinese community, the needs of people with intellectual disabilities and their caregiving families are not always openly discussed. Some families may not know what local service organizations are available, how to apply for support, or whether assessment, waiting lists or referrals are required because of language barriers, cultural views or lack of information. If a charity concert can connect cultural activities with service organizations, it may help more residents understand the long-term pressure faced by families with special needs.
However, a single charity performance cannot replace ongoing services. For residents planning to buy tickets or donate, in addition to confirming the time, location and ticket prices, they should also watch whether organizers later disclose the final donation amount, where the funds go and which programs will benefit. Families with related caregiving needs can also use this opportunity to learn more about the service scope, application process and language support available through Cherished Integrated Services.
