【TVmedium News】Imperial Ball is the major annual fundraising event of the Chinese Cultural Centre of Greater Toronto (CCCGT). This year not only are we celebrating the Mid-Autumn Moon Festival, it marks the 35th Anniversary of the CCCGT whereby it will be a joyous double celebration with our patrons and supporters at the Centre.
The Imperial Ball will be held on Saturday, September 30, 5:30pm at our own venue, the CCCGT. Highlights will include fabulous food from reception to dinner, and amazing entertainment. All funds raised will support the development and construction of the Asian Garden, situated at the heart of the Centre. You are cordially invited to join us at this unforgettable evening.
During the gala event, you’ll be treated to hors d’oeuvres catered by The Chef’s House under the leadership of Executive Chef John Higgins, Osteria Mattarello Restaurant, and a fantastic fusion dinner prepared in our newly expanded kitchen by our catering team led by Mr. Alan Lee.
Live performances in the P.C. Ho Theatre include captivating dance by Goh Ballet and the fascinating east meets west PhoeNX Ensemble. There will also be an Indigenous performance by Myranda Spence during dinner to pay tribute to the National Truth and Reconciliation Commemoration which falls on the same day.
Live Auction items include a set of twelve exclusively framed Chinese Zodiac coins from the Royal Canadian Mint, jewellery from Royal de Versailles, and two fabulous dinner for ten from The Chef’s House.
There will be an array of attractive silent auction items on display which include popular dinner certificates, wines, brand name sunglasses and many more.
To celebrate the 35th Anniversary milestone, we are very honoured to have Mr. Lenny Wong as the Special 35th Anniversary Imperial Ball Chairman. His long-term commitment to CCCGT is very much commended. We also have two youth Co-chairs, Caitlin Wong and Max Cheung, who will be continuing the support which their parents have dedicated to CCCGT.
