TORONTO, May 8, 2026 – The Canada-China Realty Professional Association (CCRPA) held its 20th Anniversary Charity Awards Appreciation Dinner on the evening of May 7 at the D&H studio hall in Richmond Hill. The event was organized to thank sponsors, partners, board members and volunteers for their support of the association’s 20th Anniversary Charity Awards Gala held on April 12. More than 200 guests attended, including CCRPA board members, sponsor representatives, partners and professionals from the real estate-related sectors. The evening focused on appreciation, networking and industry exchange.

Guests in attendance included former Member of Parliament Paul Chiang, Richmond Hill Deputy Mayor Godwin Chan, Markham Regional Councillor Alan Ho, Richmond Hill Councillors Michael Shiu and Simon Cui, as well as Markham Councillors Amanda Yeung and Isa Lee. Several guests delivered remarks at the event, congratulating CCRPA on its 20th anniversary and its recent charity awards gala.

Before the dinner began, a highlight video from CCRPA’s 20th Anniversary Charity Awards Gala was played on the main screen. The organizer said the April 12 gala, which brought together about 1,000 attendees, was made possible through the support of sponsors, partners, staff and volunteers. The appreciation dinner was therefore arranged to thank those who have supported the association and its events over the years.

CCRPA President Zhifeng Sun delivered remarks during the dinner, thanking sponsors, partners, board members and volunteers for their support of the association’s 20th anniversary events. He also acknowledged the organizing team behind the April 12 Charity Awards Gala. Sun said the association will continue to use its platform to promote exchange and cooperation across the real estate and related service sectors.

CCTV Medium observed that, during the evening, some sponsor and partner representatives came on stage to speak. The main screen also displayed a list of sponsors from sectors including real estate, finance, law, construction and renovation, food and beverage, media, and related services. Given the large number of sponsors and partners, the event used representative remarks, on-site acknowledgements and the presentation of some sponsor plaques to express appreciation.

One of the most notable moments of the evening was the bluefin tuna cutting presentation sponsored by Fule Group. Professional chefs cut and prepared an approximately 150-pound Atlantic bluefin tuna on site, with the CCRPA president, management team and sponsor representatives taking part in the ceremony. The event also featured whole roasted lamb sponsored by 777Stone, adding an interactive and festive element to the dinner.

In addition to the dining and interactive elements, the organizer introduced some of CCRPA’s plans for the second half of the year. According to the association, CCRPA plans to work with the Construction Association and other related organizations in mid-October to host a real estate expo, aiming to continue promoting resource sharing and cooperation among the real estate industry and its related service sectors. The dinner also introduced new honorary board members and board members from a range of professional backgrounds.
As an industry organization serving real estate investors and professionals, CCRPA has spent the past 20 years connecting real estate agents, investors, mortgage and financial professionals, legal services, construction and renovation businesses, and other commercial partners. For Chinese real estate professionals and small and medium-sized businesses in the Greater Toronto Area, events like this are not only appreciation gatherings, but also opportunities for face-to-face networking, relationship building and business cooperation.
Against the backdrop of an ongoing adjustment in the real estate market, related industries continue to face pressures involving client confidence, financing costs, market uncertainty and cross-sector cooperation. This appreciation dinner also reflected how Chinese real estate and related service industries continue to maintain connections, integrate resources and seek further cooperation through association platforms.
